Arteixo Urban Agenda
Londra Project
In the municipality of Arteixo, we continue working towards the transformation of our community. We are implementing initiatives in pursuit of a more environmentally friendly future and carrying out improvements, such as the Londra Arteixo program, for the restoration of river ecosystems and the reduction of flood risk in the urban areas surrounding the Bolaños and Bidueiro rivers.
Londra Arteixo was created in 2021. It is an initiative for the restoration of river ecosystems and the reduction of flood risk in the urban environment of the Bolaños and Bidueiro rivers.
Project funded by the Biodiversity Foundation of the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge, within the framework of the PRTR, funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU.

- Control invasive species, especially in coastal areas.
- Minimize spills into rivers.
Challenges in civil engineering:
- Expand the areas of operation and continue along the path.
- Reshape slopes.
- Improve drainage areas.
